What's going on this weekend?

So I'm flipping thru the Daily News & I came across these postings both happening this weekend in BK. I'm almost certain they're both FREE as well. Check 'em out.

Saturday August 30 - Visual Expessions on Jazz Art:

The "Portraits in Blue" exhibit explores visual arts and jazz, featuring the works of 30 artists. Shown in conjunction with the 8th Annual JVC Jazz Festival and Incorporation of Artists on the Move (IAM), Inc., the show is curated by Gwendolyn Black. Gallery hours: 4 to 8pm Friday; 2-8pm Saturday; noon to 3pm Sunday. Clinton Hill Art Gallery, 154A Vanderbilt Ave. (718)852-0227 or (718)857-0074

Sunday August 31 - Afro Jazz Sundays:

To hear vocalist Manze Dayila transform traditional songs of her homeland, Haiti, into a new Haitian sound is mesmerizing. Manze Dayila And The Nago Nation's music is a blend of roots vodou, afro-beat, reggae and her own stylings that mix pop, world and jazz. Manze's performance will be a dance party to help kick off Brooklyn's Caribbean carnival celebration of Labor Day. Show times are 6pm and 7:15pm. No cover, table, or bar minimums. Tamborl Restaurant, 527 Myrtle Ave. (718)622-5130.
